GIPS-Tezpur has celebrated World Pharmacists’ Day on 25th September 2021 in the college premises. Dr. Abdul Baquee Ahmed Principal GIPS-Tezpur marked the initiation of this event by hoisting of flag along with Principal GIMT- Tezpur Dr. Dipal Baruah, all the faculty members, Students and other supporting staffs. The occasion was inaugurated by lighting of the lamp, Respected Principal Sir GIPS Tezpur and invited guest Principal of GIMT gave their valuable speech on the theme “Pharmacy: Always Trusted for Your Health” and enlightened all of us. One of the D. Pharm 2nd year student Sidhant Sarma made a still painting of ‘Galen’ the father of pharmacy to pay his tribute. Various cultural acts were performed by the students. A social awareness Drama was performed by students on topic “Treatment related Superstitions”. Mr. Sandipan Choudhury Asst. Professor and convenor of World pharmacist Day celebration at GIPS-TEZPUR concluded the program by delivering vote of thanx to all. Lastly we wish a very happy World Pharmacist Day to all.
